The service
CookieBoe helps you inspect cookies, trackers, and storage on websites, and optionally generate a cosmetic consent notice. CookieBoe is a software tool. It is not a CMP, not a law firm, and not legal advice.
No compliance guarantee
Scan scores, classifications, and banner features are informational. They do not guarantee GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA, or any other regulatory compliance. You remain responsible for how you process personal data on your sites.
Acceptable use
- Do not abuse rate limits or attempt to disrupt the service
- Do not scan sites you are not authorized to evaluate
- Do not use CookieBoe to misrepresent legal compliance to others
Accounts and billing
Free features may include branding and usage caps. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Cancelling stops future charges according to Stripe’s billing cycle; fees already paid are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
Banners
Free banners may display CookieBoe branding. The notice stores a visitor choice in localStorage and does not block cookies or scripts. You are responsible for the message content and any privacy links you include.
Availability
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as the product evolves.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CookieBoe and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on scan results or banners.
